The students in the 4th grade are 9-10 years old and have used many techniques to tell about Stavanger and their school as well as how the oil and gas activities have influenced the development of the region. In the exhbit you can find a timeline, a pinned map showing the nationalities of all ISS students as well as drawings, essays and posters that the students have worked on.

“You have done a remarkable job, and the presentation of the school project is excellent”, said Museum director Finn E. Krogh when he opened the exhibition with around 35 students as well as teachers and parents this week.

“The oil and gas industry is the main reason why Stavanger was developed into the international city it is today, and you are part of the large international community in Stavanger”, Krogh continued.

Enthusiastic students together with teachers and parents studied the works on display. Visitors who wants to see the school exhibition from the ISS students will find it on the museum’s first floor by the library entrance. The exhibition will be open throughout the summer period.
