The autumn holiday is a great time for children to bring their mum and dad, siblings, or perhaps grandparents to the museum. We have a whole host of extra activities lined up during weeks 40 and 41.

Family tours in week 41

From Monday 5 to Friday 9 October at 1:45 p.m., there will be family tours of the exhibition “At Home on Gullfaks”. What is it really like to work and live on an offshore platform? We explore different occupations, how people and goods get to the platform, and what happens if someone is injured on the platform.

The tour will be adapted to the age of the audience but is best suited for children aged 6 and above.

Permanent Activities

Some activities are always available at the Petroleum Museum, regardless of the season. We are creating a new picture hunt for the autumn holiday, but the play platform, escape chute and catastrophe room remain just as they were before.
